If you're seeing the slappy crap on Pixhost with Firefox, I suggest trying a different ad-blocker extension. I don't see that garbage at all. Information about my Firefox config is of no use to anyone else because it's all old stuff (XUL-based) including Adblock Plus, but FWIW it works fine for me. I don't know which modern ad-blocker to recommend, but there's got to be at least one that'll do it.

Updated FF to the latest, but saw it got rid of all my add-ons, so had to go back to the previous version.
Also getting a Livejasmin pop-under that refuses to go away. |

When i used to use the Old FF i'd occasionally have stuff that i couldnt stop
so i completely disabled the plugins - which included some copyright permission bullshit from mozilla that they'd quietly added - i disabled all of it with no effect that i could see If theres a hole in anyones browser thats being exploited bank on it being the plugins Theres always a slim chance ad-block plus - is in its - allow some ads mode used to be you had to tick it to enrol but who knows? I still have issues stopping moving images in chrome & palemoon even with ublock origin & script blockers in use Thats an issue that there doesnt seem to be a quick solution to Manually right clicking the offending zone/ad and blocking is as good as it currently gets Maybe using an add-on like this one i use on chrome and just downloading the zipfile if available is a way of bypassing the offending ads fast image blocker https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...-blocker-plus/ Developers homepage https://mybrowseraddon.com/image-blocker.html Last edited by buttsie; December 30th, 2018 at 05:46 PM.. Does anybody have any experience when ImageBam shows you a complete gallery, but refuses to load some pics ? Here's an example : http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/ha74...vyifhtlno9w72d

This happens when the thumb is available, but the image is lost. That happens quite often. Thumb and image are separate entities, maybe even stored in separate places.

What's up with the zip upload at Imagebam?
I've tried over and over, but it will not upload for me. (File size is only 105 MB and Adblock is off.) |

I'm getting the same "Argh, run away" message about pixhost. I'm using Opera xp sp3.
I suppose I'll try at some point with firefox.

I canīt confirm the Virus-/Malware-Alerts @ PixHost, but I notice some dodgy behaviour for some days while uploading. The speeds are far away from what was usual in the past, and especially larger pic-files exceeding 2MBīs are sometimes rejected which has never been the case earlier.
