Last evening I was kept awake by all the local idiots on my block shooting off illegal fireworks, firecrackers, cherry bombs, hammer bombs and other stuff until almost midnight. I have never seen so many firework displays before since I stared living in this building since 2001. I could see from my living room windows that face both west and north at least 30 firework displays from as little as across the street and up to ten miles away.

I live in Illinois which does not sell fireworks, but the state of Indiana is just 4 miles away and they set up special storefronts this time of year to sell fireworks to the public. Damn them!!

If he could burried a tunnel, one of my cats would make it to protect himself from the detonations of fireworks.

Living in a area where there are Swiss, French and Portuguese people, he has to suffer during all the national days of these countries, plus two or three other local events per year and New Year day.

And since 3 years there are people I can't locate, who sporadically use firecrackers one week before and after national days.
