The smart television I use is tizenbrower.

Vaguely remember a slight mention about linux with tizen in a hearted debate earlier in the year.

Pardon the pun, I believe the issue is across the board spanning many devices and browsers too.
Not at the same time either as my earlier screenshots demonstrated.

Laptop at that moment displayed fine,
Television at that moment displayed missing images and icons.
Two different devices, Two different browsers. Both roughly at the same time on the forum.

Members and staffs observations im finding particularly interesting.

Never heard of Tizen but apparently it is the built in Samsung browser that ships with all Samsung Smart TV's.

Yes correct it is Scott.

Was actually Jazz including yourself in the imagebam thread that I had heated debate with at the time when Tizen was mentioned in association with Linux.

One of those times I had a bee in my bonnet, tried to fight my point that a smart television couldn't be hacked,
that's when I do believe it was Jazz mentioned Linux.

But yes it's the built in web browser on Samsung Smart Televisions.

yeah, hadn't heard of it but when I dug into it Tizen is a flavour of Linux, so technically it should be open-source as per the license agreement.
And therefore hackable

There are tick boxes to those license agreements,

Everything seems ok at the moment but that was the case yesterday. The longer I stayed logged in the more the problems showed up with the board displays

Will see how this day goes

no, I meant if you use Linux you're bound by the Open Source Licence that comes with the freedom to use and modify the kernel
Code:
https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.en.html
https://www.linuxfoundation.org/resources/open-source-guides/using-open-source-code
https://opensource.org/licenses
not your EULA with Samsung for using the telly
