Did you seriously think Everton weren't going to get relegated under Koeman? What made you confident?

I expect them to get relegated.

Some papers are linking us to Moyes, the Sun have gone one further naming Moyes & Neville, Phil variety.

Pretty poor stuff and apart from our goal, Brighton all over again, even the Ox scored, unsure if Bilic will be P45 yet as they have not budgeted for him to go, although looking at the December fixtures only someone suicidal would want the job prior to New Year. four of the eight fixtures include City & Spurs(A) Chelsea & Arsenal(H)as well as Stoke & Bournemouth(A) Newcastle(H) and a trip to the Library for a caboose cup tie.

I thought Happy Hammers 'really' thought Bilic was gonna take them to new 'great' heights.
They would have done better keeping BFS!!!

When they sack Bilic, they should seriously think about employing the boy from Canning Town, who has got THREE different teams promoted from the Championship.

OR, do they think Chrissy Hughton isn't good enough for them???

David Moyes?????? are they 'Joking'????????

The issues are in the boardroom and while those three run the sinking ship nothing will change regardless of manager. BFS signed quite a few cheapies he new and they performed how he wanted them to and bored everyone to death, 4-6-0 at home was just laughable.
The only way Houghton will end up at ours is if Brighton sack him and given where they are now its highly unlikely.

Moyes seems to be the Media's favourite at the moment.

Should they sack Bilic whoever comes in will have a job to do, especially with the snails in midfield, its highly probable the home of athletics will be in the Championship next season.

Well they've done everything else they could to alienate their traditional fan base.

Talking of which, I attended a funeral this week of someone who was a lifelong Hammers supporter, as were the vast majority of those attending. 'Bubbles' was played, all the wreaths were WHU related, many attended in WHU shirts. Most of them were season ticket holders (in the Chicken Run for the most part) for 20+ years, many used to go both home and away. Not one of them bothers anymore...

My Dad's family are all WHU, one cousin now follows Braintree, has done so since the BFS years

Four did not renew this year and a few more are saying enough is enough, it appears the older generation as they just don't like what's going on and that is down to the owners.

Promise you the earth and deliver nothing, some are saying they have saved the club, but it is the furthest thing from the truth.
They grabbed the freebee stadium, sold our ancestral home, loaned the club the money to clear the bank debt so they could, charge an extortionate interest rate to keep the kids inheritance.

Still waiting for the 30 mill striker and if DS could have obtained the millennium stadium it would be Cardiff and not us.

We are never going to set the PL on fire, capable of winning at old Trafford, just as capable of losing to the Mansfield's of this world, all I ask is you try.

Money grabbing owners destroying a club I love.

I was confident they wouldn't go down. They were low on confidence but Koeman had enough good players and enough time to turn it around. Koeman is a good manager which he proved at Southampton. Everton's major problems were lack of a goalscorer and an out-of-form defence. The former could hace been corrected in January and the latter on the training ground.

A couple of good wins (like the one today) will boost confidence, and a bit more time will bed in the new players. One more win will put them in mid-table. There was no reason to panic, which everyone seems to do at the drop of a hat.

Oh yeah. That's good reasoning. I did not share your confidence. I'm not sure the club was good enough to handle a relegation battle after such big changes and a loss of chemistry (and predictability). Particularly if it dragged on til January.

A lot of Everton fans don't like Moyes. But since he left, we've now had two sacked managers who we've felt threatened could get us relegated. I don't think the club's culture is that good. I think it's soft underneath the exterior of being a "big" club.
