Medicare, It's free but can be slow for a lot of procedures ... I use private, almost instant for most things.

Sorry to hear about all that. I had to have substantial surgery at very short notice about 18 months ago in an NHS hospital. I'm not going into detail about this, but the standard of care was nothing short of superb, with fantastic staff. The NHS may come in for rather a lot of criticism these days, but it's still pretty good when you really need it.
