Work-around for searching by Post Number

Hi everyone.

As I'm in the process of working through the Mature & MILF thread and creating an Excel spreadsheet of all the unidentified models I recognize, it seems that it will be easiest to use the information I'm assembling if you can search the post number.

Since that doesn't seem to be an option using this site's search capabilities, you can use the URL http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/showpost.php?p=unique post identifier (e.g., 1234567) in a search engine and pull up the page.

On a related topic, if one of the moderators happens to read this and can tell me the most appropriate place to put an "index" type post that will probably span 1000+ entries, I'd greatly appreciate it. For example, here's some of the entries from my spreadsheet:

Since this thread is located in the Modern section I spoke with them about where to put your index. Also possibly worth thinking about for your index thread: use BBcode to greatly simplify the composition of your post(s).

For example, you can create links to the above post using the POST bbcode:

[POST=nnnnn]some description[/POST]

Can be used to create something like:

Veronika Pagacova

Hmm, but your above post id doesn't seem to be a "live" one? Maybe you just made some up to illustrate? /shrug/

Just remember that this creates an "ordinary" hyperlink, i.e. it opens in the current front window, rather than e.g. a link that uses the php "showpost" or "showthread" functions which typically trigger the resulting url to be opened in a fresh tab/window.

You might also like to take a look at some of the options in BBcode for composing list(s), and/or perhaps also tables.
