Finally got a reply from an email addy listed in the registration data. It appears that ImageVenue had to suspend Premium Account sign-up because PayPal suspended their account due to adult material. They are looking for a good credit card processor that doesn't object to adult stuff. There is no impact on regular free account sign-up.

I am bringing this up to ask if anyone figured how to bulk download images from pimpandhost using the firefox Imagegrabber plugin.

Looks like pimpandhost images were used in many older posts, lately pimpandhost appears in recent posts as well, so how do you people download these pics? One at a time? Or is there a FREE program to do that, much like Imagegrabber?

You can request that pimpandhost be added to Image Host Grabber's database by posting on the developer's forum here: http://forum.imagehost-grabber.com/ He's pretty responsive and there are a number of others there who are good with coming up with host definitions that are requested. Don't expect them to do it in an hour or overnight (though they have managed that a few times) but if it can be done they'll add it.

Well, my understanding is that pimpandhost handles images and the respective links (thumbnails) to same images in a way that Imagegrabber cannot resolve using its embedded functions which require the image file name to be a function of the thumbnail name.

A few months back I tried myself to create such a function for a while but gave up very quickly when I figured what pimpandhost does (uses completely different names for thumbnail and the actual image, no way a function can derive the one from the other) so I think that the people at Imagegrabber surely know that, so they do not support pimpandhost although there is much content in there and surely lots of users are interested.

What I had in mind was that maybe pimpandhost itself would provide such a program that could resolve the actual image file name based on a completely different thumbnail name.

Imagebam does the same, completely removing the picture filename from the thumbnail and its code yet Imagehost Grabber works on it. I don't think that alone is enough to make it impossible to make IHG work on Pimpandhost links.

Default Imagebam picture ripper

Does anyone know of a program that lets you rip a series of photos that are stored on Imagebam, such as the picture sets people post, instead of having to save and click to go to the next picture which takes forever?

Pterodactl is a great program for downloading a bunch of images in individual tabs without having to right click and save on all of them. Something like this for Imagebam would save a lot of time. Which is why I'm hoping one already exists.

If you use Firefox there's the "ImageHost Grabber" extension.

Seconded that - wonderful tool that grabs pictures from most of the well-known picture-hosters.

If you have both the latest versions of Firefox (3.6x) and Imagehost Grabber, itīs a trouble-free tool

I use the paid version of Bulk Image Downloader and it works great, it even grabs multiple thread pages. Imagehost Grabber is supposed to do multi pages too, but I've never gotten it to work.

Firefox recently added a new feature for Download Them All called Anticontainer, it works great too. Anticontainer is a separate add on, you need Download Them All installed as well.
