Natalie Wood on Wonderwall . . .
. . . which announced that Natalie Wood's death certificate has been changed from "accidental" to "undetermined." They only included two photos of the lady, which is a lot less than they usually do with one of their stories. (They did have a third photo, of her grave, with flowers placed around the plaque, but I decided not to post that.) There was another photo on the MSN homepage, linking to the Wonderwall piece, and it was tagged as "undated photo." Here it is, followed by the two Wonderwall pics:
   The color picture had me wondering why Robert Wagner was holding an Oscar, since I thought that neither of them had won an Oscar, so I checked Wikipedia, which mentioned Oscar nominations for Natalie, but no wins, and no nominations for Wagner. (Of course, Wikipedia is not the most reliable source . . .) I did notice that the lady's Wiki page had a number of photos of her, and a photo of her sidewalk Star, and here they are:      Wikipedia had the "undated photo" from MSN, but flipped and in color (middle photo in the bottom row), and identified it as from her last movie, Brainstorm. It also had two early photos of her when she was a child actress, but a VEF rule prohibits posting photos of children. There aren't a lot of pages in Natalie Wood's thread (so far), but there are a lot of photos, so it's possible that I'm posting dupes (aside from my posting both the b&w and color versions of the Brainstorm photo). If that's the case, let me know and I'll do some deleting. And if someone knows why Robert Wagner is holding that Oscar, I'd like to know that, too.

Natalie Wood . . .
. . in pics from the Huffington Pest, er, Post, plus one from the WonderWall site. The HP also had a couple of nice pics of the lady and Robert Wagner with their children, which would be agin the Rules to post, so you'll have to go to the website to see those.
        The first pic is the earliest, from 1955. The first of several pics with Robert Wagner is also early (though it seems like yesterday to me), from the set of All the Fine Young Cannibals, in 1959. The first pic in the third row is from Cannes and shows producter Michael Phillips getting an award for Taxi Driver (presented, I assume, by Wood & Wagner). The two pics of the lady with Warren Beaty are from Cannes in May, 1962. The last pic is from WonderWall, and was paired with another pic of a one-time child actress who, like Natalie Wood, has become a present-day adult actress. I have nothing against the other lady (who is unfamiliar to me), but this is Natalie's thread, so I've cropped the other lady out of the frame. Later: Dimwit has posted a nifty bunch of pics of the lady, and the first one in his set looks like it's a flipped and less cropped version of the same photo that's the last one in my set above. Although his version of the pic show more of her legs and surroundings and is higher res, it's somewhat darker than mine, so I'll leave mine in this posting for now (though a moderator may disagree with that).  I found this pic online. Posting this is a bit ironic, since the actual author of the actual book died last month. P.S. It just occurred to me that there's no reason for Natalie Wood to look shocked, shocked, presumably at the contents of the book, since in the movie she's supposed to be the one who wrote it. Maybe she just noticed a horrendous typo that the proofreaders didn't catch . . .
