They (EU) aren't going to hunt little fishes, they are on a big-game hunting.

Have a look at the names: Amazon, Apple, GOOGLE, Microsoft, Starbucks, McDonald, Burger King, EON, Axel Springer (German Press), Henkel, Deutsche Bank, VolksWagen (- Global Finance), Daimler, BMW, Bosch, SAP, Lufthansa ect.

All are using the same strategy of "Tax Avoiding". They are sending bills of franchise-costs of their mother-companies from tax heavens to their subsidiaries. That bill is "immaterially" as you may have guessed. The subsidiaries reducing with that bills their costs, their customers in Europe are paying for each product (a Hamburger or a pot of coffee for example or may be rack (IKEA)).
The payment money of their subsidiaries in the EU-States goes to letter box companies in the Netherlands where it is tax free for "gateway amounts", like it is in the Netherlands from the other EU-States. Their letterbox companies send it now from the Netherlands and to other tax heavens outside the Netherlands.
It happens also today day by day!
Your cafè in your town (private owner) must pay the full tax rate and can't use the tax trick, Starbucks (for example) is using. Same with your furniture shop in town.

An official report by the Cabinet Office found that two statements he had made in November about being unaware pornographic material had been found on a computer in his office were "inaccurate and misleading" and constituted a breach of the ministerial code.

Why is it, that when Politicians are 'found out' to be the low life, self serving scum they are, it has always been an "unavoidable mistake" or an "error of judgement".

If you or I were found guilty of misconduct and lying, your employer wouldn't kindly "ask you to resign" - we would be FIRED - WITH CAUSE.

Yet another example of '1 rule for the rich' and the law for everyone else.

I personally couldn't care lees about what this Pratt get's up to in his own time.
I do care what he does during working hours and in public buildings while taking his public pay cheque.
I also care that he is a 'bald faced liar' - if you lie about this to serve your own interests, then you can't be trusted to tell the truth about a thing else.
We pay politicians salaries & everthing else they claim for. They conveniently forget they work for us, and think they are above the laws they hold the rest of us to.

This man will face no charges - face no penalties - he will soon be in the private sector, paid some riddiculous salary for sitting on a company board 1 day per month.

Well I would find losing a third of my salary and the various perks quite a large penalty! But the sadder side of this, is that police officer, solely for his own gain, and that of his union, has breached confidentiality, and talked to the press. He HAS committed an offence, a criminal one firstly by misconduct in a public office and secondly the official secrets act, which he would have had to sign to work were he was.

Green was a bloody idiot and rightly had to go, but what next for the Police? Open discussions with the press about rape victims? Child Abuse victims? Domestic violence victims? Even burglary victims? You can imagine the red tops being ecstatic about the fact that some knickers got stolen from Mrs Jones during her burglary.

Don't know if anyone has noticed, that awfully nice Mr Dump, has told the US ambassador to the UN to take notes of all the nations that speak or vote against the stupid Jerusalem statement.

He has basically told some of the poorest nations in the World that they vote his way or their people suffer starvation, as he has made it clear that they will siffer cuts or a stop on aid, to me this is an obscene threat, the school bully becoming head boy, and showing what Dump really thinks of democracy!
