I used to have a premium account with Filefactory, like you i could download any FF link quickly as a paying member, now i no longer pay a membership to any hoster, i now have a Depositfiles account, which new and restored links are being uploaded, at least they give decent download speeds for free.

Until they change their mind in a few weeks and throttle free users again that is.

Ive never had any issue`s with download speeds from Depo, but maybe that`s not saying much.

Used to have terrible troubles with them. Have Premiums at 3 different places which mean I miss out on K2S, RG etc etc as they are slow and unreliable.

However as always, if people are having massive troubles with downloading files then if they contact me I'll help where possible

Don't know what's happening with FF at the moment. I have over 3 Gb of new uploads and re-ups on FF ( from the last 36 hours) which Filezilla (my FTP client) says have uploaded successfully. Meanwhile at the user interface end of File Factory, nothing is showing up either in my FTP folder or anywhere else! To make matters worse I have some files refusing to download for other users, despite link taking them to a page, and the file being visible on my 'My Files' page! They really would try the patience of a saint!

I'm trying to get a file from ff as free-user again (I testet them for a month, but even with premium some files had only speeds of 140 Kbps!?, so I didn't extend)
but now I'm facing the same issue as lagerlout again.

I already tried to switch off my firewall and security programs right before the download would complete but that didn't work.

Now here's my request which could generally be adopted when uploading.
And it's only a simple "ticking a box" (NOT "dick in a box")

Could we all just put 1 % or 2 % recovery record to our archives so one can easily repair them and avoid redownloading broken CRC and other incomplete files.

That's a good idea that I was told about before but I'd forgotten to adopt.

I'll put that in place for my next uploads.

Server 42 is extremely slow at the moment.

Opened a request for investigation from their support...if your download is from s42 expect it to be extremely slow.
