Default A Bit Of Art And A Bit Of A Puzzle

I draw a bit. I was meant to be drawing something else today, but I was browsing around the forum and ended up in the thread of a favourite vintage Brit girl, so that got me to watch a bit of an old video of her that despite being mild and a bit crapulent remains a favourite (I actually had it on VHS, purchased from an ad in Mr Sullivan's newspaper, years ago) and that inspired me to draw this pic.

But portraiture isn't my strong point, so I thought rather than embarrass myself by saying, "this is X" and people saying, "it looks nothing like her, you suck", it would be fun (YMMV) to upload it here and see if anyone is interested enough to guess who it is, and if they do it might imply the representation is somewhere in the right ballpark. So here it is, my 'umble rendition of Mystery Brit Babe. All guesses warmly appreciated.

Answers on a postcard please to Thames Television, Teddington Lock, Middlesex.

PS, it's not a copy of any particular real photo, more of an "inspired by". And there's no background because I'm a lazy git.

Sam Fox? If so you have improved on the original.

Best wishes

Sam Fox? No

I have to admit that as is often the case, looking at a pic after some time has elapsed, I can see I captured far less than I intended to and it's not as good as I hoped it was, and it really could be anybody. As such, I now feel mildly embarrassed for posting it. Oh well, that's life I suppose. The inspiration was Louise Leeds in an old video where she dances around in a blue swimsuit, then takes it off, kind of thing (which is available in her thread here at VEF).

Thanks for the replies anyway

You shouldn't be so down on yourself. I am a novice at picking names but I got the correct era. I thought Louise was a bit well, tubbier. (Sorry L.L.)

You might have hung on for a few more replies. Please do have another shot. I might post an oldie of my own!

Best wishes, danton

Mate, if this isn't your strong point then the rest of your art work must be incredible. Fantastic drawing.
