Max Hardcore is going to jail for violating some distribution and obscenity laws (in Florida I think) so I'll be happy for that. Cant stand abusive vids (the face/tit slappers, throat gaggers, etc), especialy when the scenes happen unexpectedly. Its easy enough to avoid Max because you know what he's going to show, but I've despised his influences and the models who sign up for it. Anything feeding a pedophiles fantasy is an instant turn-off. And whats all the spitting? LOL How many really tried getting a positive reaction from your girl by spitting in her face?

I also had a great dislike for the "loops" in some scenes where they are obviously just trying to fill time, as if someone wasnt going to notice.

Really bad camera work in amateur vids can get quite annoying. The camera man talking too much can be just as annoying to the viewer as the model. One vid was so full of cracking noises from camera adjustments I had to kill the sound altogether.

When the 'action' is about to start and instead of pulling the knickers/pants/G-strings right off, they pull them to one side and commence shagging. I hate male porn stars spitting on the girls, it's unpleasent. If she's not wet enough stop the camera and use some lube, with editing no one will know.

A certain male star whos name rhymes with Mave Derry does it, out of shot, to make it look like he's delivered more a load during the money shot. Good topic, I agree with most of the comments, but realisticly a lot of the comments are just personal opinions and tastes - these cant be accomodated all the time for obvious reasons.

Shoes on or shoes off, platforms or classics - thats down to the directors taste. You can't please all the people all of the time.....etc

That said a lot of the comments about techinal stuff are very justified.
While they seem obvious to you and me, it gives you an idea of the mentality of the average porn director that in the 30 or so years that the commercial genre has been in business, most of these people havent learned the most obvious, basic skills about what they are doing.

The single most annoying thing that niggles me about porn films (past and present) is when the female has to sit waiting while the guy has to jerk off to cum - this is something the girl should be doing.
Its also the reason for the close up on the guys face that other people hate - often these guys are stood there 5 mins wanking their semi-hard dicks, so the shot of the guys face is always used to cut from the start of him jerking off to the cumshot.
