Anything from an experienced scientist, climatology, meterology, ecology, geology etc .... but has zero ties to the UN

As you know, I have posted several times that I believe we have already missed our window to forestall any climate changes. One really can't blame a knowledgeable scientist for simply grabbing corporate bucks and enjoying life as much as possible given that no difference can be made.

Forgive me, but I have been partially directed in my search for evidence and information by some very smart people that I have known since high school and trust implicitly. Thus, when faced with a video lecture presenting conclusions very much at odds with 40 years of peer reviewed reports that I have read, I will do some research into the presenter. Patrick Moore is a sell out and is now working as a PR flack for polluters. Feel free to use his videos to reinforce what you want to believe, but don't expect me to buy this bullshit.

I didn't say that at all, didn't even imply it, though to the best of my knowledge Pope Francis is concerned about Climate Change.

I said I'll listen to anyone credible be it they are scientists who believe in climate change or not, I just take no notice in the UN, but that goes for anything the UN say or do

I do watch and take notice of the advocates, it is pointless for me to give a link of an advocate I have read or watched as you will obviously agree with.

didn't answer a single question satisfactorily, though the protest wasn't actually about climate change it was written all over the answers he gave that it's all an attempt to impose a system I have no time for. It saddens me when I see that kind of thing and people just buy it, all I do is question so put forward the not so popular side of the story is all I do.

The problem I have is this , in the 1970's they said by the year 2000 most of the US's coastal cities would be under water and then in the 1980's they were saying basically the same thing but it would happen by 2020 , and every year they keep trying to scare us instead of telling us the truth , which is nobody is really sure what will happen and when .

You are bang on right Mate, the more I’ve gotten a bit more interested in this, well, climate emergency now, the more and more I am becoming a skeptic.
The worst problems I have are the attempts at shutting down and silencing of the scientists who try counter the advocates evidence. Nobody can give a satisfactory answer, resorting to ridicule is weak, resorting to silencing such as the professor here, Peter Ridd who was sacked for arguing about our Great Barrier Reef dying and he’s an expert on it. It all really makes me question the whole damn thing and are we being told the truth or part truths.
