What makes me a man? Hmm well I was always brought up to respect women and do the usual things like open doors for them and give up my seat on a bus for a pregant or elderly one but the mark of a man is knowing your limits and it's not a case of how strong you are, but how kind, considerate and right-thinking you are and NEVER be afraid to show your emotions. Men who say they never cry or get upset are usually liars. The worst thing you can do is bore people to death talking about football or yourself. Women might respect strength or good looks might be thelr thing, but making one laugh or just being courteous helps too. I suppose it is really what you think of yourself and how you behave in public that also counts. As long as you're not a thug, beat up women for fun, or be nasty to animals and children then you are a MAN. What is the definition of a MAN? Who knows, but it is what you learn in life that determines the kind of man you will be.

At home what makes me the man is that I decide the important stuff like our position on the Middle East, our position on the Russian Federation and the Peoples Republic of China, should the UK be in or out of the EU and such, while she decides on the unimportant sfuff like what we're going to eat, where we're going on holiday, and where we're going to live.
