Characters
If you could have played a character in a film, which film and character would it have been and why ?
I watched one of my favorite films for the god knows which time this afternoon, Night Shift, with Michael Keaton, Henry Winkler and Shelley Long. I was thinking to myself I'd love to have played the Bill Blazejowski character that Michael Keaton played, mainly as I wouldn't have been acting, what you see in that character is very close to me. It's almost uncanny commented one of my family members on how close Bill is to my personality. So, Who would you have played in which film ?

I`ll base my choice on what you yourself have written mate ,since an old former fellow career friend of mine sent me a text the Christmas before last saying he`d just seen Watchmen , and that i reminded him of the Comedian from the film
Which i guess is true , or at least once was . Not saying that i was a rapist then and am not now or anything though , ok Anyway Sheep are notorious for making false accusations

I think I'd liked to have been George played by Peter North in "Night of Loving Dangerously". A hard drinking Private Dick (pun intended) who got to service Christy Canyon, Ginger Lynn, and Nora Kuzma. Don't get much better than that!!!

Charlie McKenzie (Mike Meyers) from So I Married An Axe Murderer. At the time this film came out, I was a pretentious artsy type wandering aimlessly around the San Francisco Bay Area. Hahaha... was. I suppose I still am a bit

Probably Bruce Willis's character John McClane in Die hard.I want nothing more than to be with my family, I'm a wise ass, but usually very good natured, and often make light of stressful situations. If need be, I do have a mean streak that I'm not proud of, but hey- that's me.maybe a hot head at times, but I'm fiercely loyal.I'd die for my friends, and I expect the same loyalty from those around me.
When things are good, I'm a content little couch potato, but when the going gets tough, I'm too dang stubborn to quit or stay down. @Estreeter, I just love keaton's character in that movie.I wish we were friends in real life, because so many of my friends have those same traits. In fact, my brother is about as close to him as anyone I've ever met. You'd be a good man to hang out with. |

Anton Chigurh, the hit-man played by Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men. Surely the coolest bad guy to hit the cinemas in years!

Call me shallow, crude, narcisstic and greedy and whatever else but I always wanted to be Thornton Mellon. The idea of going back to college with money, some acquired knowledge, and you get to stick it to the pretentious elitist intellectual snob for a teacher; where do I sign up. The guy divorces Adrienne Barbeau and ends up with Sally Kellerman. And it's frickin' Rodney!! Plus I'd get to be in this scene:
But there's only one character who's personal credo I subscribe to. And that man is this genius. "Have a good time all the time." - Viv Savage
