Fiesta vs Escort

I don't know if this is the right place for this...

Fiesta versus Escort. Similar Uk mags. Which do you prefer? When it comes to readers wives, Fiesta used to be great. There was a Star Wife 2 page spread which featured sent in pics. There was a Wife of the Month in which a wife came into their studio to be shot. There were plenty of other readers wives in the nag. There was One For The Ladies featuring a nude bloke. All that has now largely gone. They struggle like fuck to get any readers wives in the mag. Many of them presenting themselves as such are actually professional models. Star wife, wife of the month? Gone! One for the ladies rarely appears because of so few submissions. All these things are sign of poor circulation. Is this mag dying?

Escort, meanwhile, every letter is accompanied by amatuer pics and they have a terrific readers wives section every month. How do they do it? Is it a more popular mag than the former, then?

My preference was for Knave then Fiesta. Escort was usually last on the list for me after Model Directory, Mayfair, and Club.

Escort's great as it has so many girls, pro's as well as amateurs. The 2-3 page spreads mean there are plenty of girls. I think fiesta is badly in decline and will be gone soon. It's as though they think there are only five models in the uk and that everybody is a big fan of them and just wants to keep seeing them. Variety is the spice of life.

I found the photography in Escort a bit more erotic usually. Fiesta always seemed a touch too seedy for me. Too many naked pics of plump and saggy unattractive middle-aged woman cropping up here and there for my taste.

Still mostly liked it though

Thats what I initially thought. I briefly owned an Escort many years ago but don't think I've ever even ridden in a Fiesta. So no basis to compare.

Haven't brought a mag in donkeys years..... But as I recall; Escort was better for the girl sets, while Fiesta had the wives and better readers' letters....Most made up by paid writers of course, but some real...??

Mayfair and Club International were more my line..... the occasional P3'r or minor celeb showing muff in Myfr, and regular Jo Guest set era CI.

I always bought Fiesta, there was just something about it that I liked, plus it always had some great "funnies" pages.
