What are you thankful for this year?

Myself, I'm thankful that, after almost two years of unemployment following a lay-off, I recently landed the best job I've ever had. I couldn't be happier....well, outside of a huge lottery win, that is. Anyway, it's really nice to be back working again.

Preventative medicine! Only in my early 40s, I've been diagnosed in the past year with an aortic aneurysm (99 dollar heart scan), precancerous colon polyps (colonoscopy), and thyroid cancer (CT scan). Without these procedures, I'd be dead within a few short years.

Cataract surgery on both my eyes. So I can see properly again, rather than just a misty haze.

I`m thankful for only having post traumatic stress memory , which means i remember everything but can still cut myself a sandwich without feeling the need to ram the blade deep in my eye

Be way unfortunate to have the majority diagnosed disorder one , since although that means you only remember when you`re reminded . When you are reminded it tends to leave you hunched over in the corner of the room shaking.

Which would be no good for me as the hover the landlord left here is so outdated it barely cleans in a one inch strip and is impossible to get into the corners

Also thankful for having zero debt

Uh not that cheery about having zero savings though

Still i`m sure my government is working tirelessly to wisely invest my contributions so that when i finally reach retirement age ( I`m guessing by then it`ll be 75) i shall be more than adequately provided for

My parents reaching & celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary-two years in the planning for the Lunch and it all went off without any hitches even my mother's 102 yr old cousin(on her father's side) made it.

I am thankful that I still have the faculties to see the gorgeous women, hear their voices, smell their perfume, feel their skin and taste their lips.
