Incidentally my nerves and adrenal glands are recuperating quickly-so no permanent damage . But Xexemedes does need to slow down a bit-he is not 25 anymore and six or more hours of sleep is far better for me than six or more cups of coffee in the morning

So...
I'm not a real cafeinómano, but I like good coffee, strong, good-tasting, cream, textured .... My wife is far more addicted to this drug (would that it were both ... oh sorry, thinking out loud.) Having burnt half a dozen espresso machines, this is my coffee-shop. It has built-in grinder that coffee is freshly ground. When the grain is of good quality (not always possible to pay) the result is excellent. And for a quick coffee, or for the night decaf ,have this one. it works very well Salut !

More than having a single favorite coffee I prefer to alternate between various beans from all over the planet; I enjoy the sometimes subtle and sometimes major differences between them. And with just enough of a shot of creamer to take a little of the edge off, but not always. I usually don't bother with blends as there're so many individual bean varieties to keep me busy.
That being said right now I'm thinking I'd enjoy some Kenya AA or Indian Mysore. Hell, I'll even enjoy one of the Maxwell House roasts, as long as it tastes a little different from what I had the day before. |

Drinking several cups of tea or coffee a day appears to protect against heart disease, according to a Dutch study.
Tea and coffee are good for the heart Those who drank more than six cups of tea a day cut their risk of heart disease by a third, the study of 40,000 people found. Consuming between two to four coffees a day was also linked to a reduced risk in the findings of the 13-year-long investigation. While the protective effect ceased with more than four cups of coffee a day, even those who drank this much were no more likely to die of any cause, including stroke and cancer, than those who abstained.

Some of my favorite coffee experiences:
Bucci or Cuban coffee: much like Turkish coffee, available in Key West Florida, and of course, Cuba. I lived on bucci, cracked conch, and Cuban sandwiches for 10 days one October. I think bucci cost $1 a shot. Three shots every AM, two every lunch, and two after work-my pee took on a dark, rich, full bodied aroma. Espresso: I dated a woman of Sicilian decent for a few years. Her mother started the espresso machine at about 4 AM every day and would drink shots until about midnight. She had the wizened, hard features of a strega and she could knock you back with a flash of her eye. She dressed all in black, had silver-gray hair, spoke little English, and could read your mind from across a room. What a woman. She is the only person I ever knew who drank more coffee than me. Porto Fino: A local coffee shop has now added this Italian roast to their regular menu. I used to really like lighter roasted beans because of the higher caffeine content, but now, Xexemedes is hooked on the bold, dark. smooth taste of Porto Fino. Turkish coffee: mentioned here several times. I was introduced to Turkish coffee by my employee when we went to a Lebanese restaurant. By my third cup my employee was horrified and begged me to stop, but the waitress really began to smile and flirt with me. I swear if I had two more cups she would have practically attacked me I also know that I am not alone when I mention that in college I would buy General Foods International flavored instant coffee and eat it straight out of the can by the tablespoon.

The waitress was Lebanese: a black haired, dark skinned, dark-eyed beauty to be sure-about 20 years old. My employee drank only about 2/3 of his coffee. He warned me that it was strong and that there might be grounds at the bottom. I drank mine down and let the grounds drip on my tongue, then I drank his coffee grounds also. The waitress saw me do this and came back and quickly. She asked if I would like another one, I said yes and she smiled a big, genuine smile. She made some small talk as I was sipping the second cup and then went to the kitchen. There were no coffee grounds at the bottom of the second cup . When I finished I caught the waitress' eye and held up the coffee cup, I asked her if she had something with grounds in it. She smiled, bit her lower lip and came back out of the kitchen with a much fancier pot. The coffee from this pot was the consistency of hot tar, it was practically all grounds. I let loose an exclamation of excitement and I swear that she clenched her thighs . As I drank my third cup she leaned her hip against the table. She began asking more personal questions than before, and her eyes just glittered. The two other waitresses apparently teased her in Lebanese because she shot them a rather comical and scandalized look then blurted something right back in the same language, the other two giggled and laughed. The waitress turned back and looked me straight in the eye. Right then a male cook came out of the kitchen and barked at the girls. My waitress gave me on final smile, sort of shrugged her shoulders together then bustled into the kitchen. A different waitress gave me the bill. I could guess that the fancy coffee pot was the real deal for the kitchen staff and maybe she was in a bit of trouble for bringing it out-I'm not sure. I took the barking of the man as my cue to leave, although between the gushing sexuality of the waitress and the growing "feel good" warmth of my stomach I was seriously considering a fourth cup . After a few months I was working in the neighborhood again and went back to the restaurant many times for lunch. The young waitress always made a point to say hello to me and make small talk, although I never ended up at her table. One night I brought my wife for dinner and got a very cold reception from the waitress, however, I noticed at that time she was pregnant-she saw me looking at her belly and we both laughed. So tony_grego that is the whole of the story. I have not had Turkish coffee since and I will always remember that look on her face as she finished pouring the thick, black, gritty liquid into my cup and squeezed her thighs together . Salut

Whow!!!.... What a nice story! (around coffee).
I'm sorry, when Mr. Cook ended the situation all happened to be just fantasy, but sometimes dreams remain more than facts. Salut !
