New reader ...altho I've seen this thread surface over the years, never read it, because I always thought everyone knew the answer...
42  Can the lowest one-cell organism determine a pathway, consciously, beyond itself? There comes a point, in evolution where we get to Descartes. Where we suddenly... stop-still  So that means that.... 42 Is as good as any answer... don't need religion, numerics nor Trump to realise.... We don't and can't know, from one-cells to multi cells, our future pathway.. from whence we came nor where we are going.... we are unable to deduce/learn our history and/or speculate on our future. Not at this point, nor without AI in much the future, as AI is 'Human-driven'..Input. A more optimistic me would have said that this body is just the vessel that takes us thru this astral plane until we reach heaven ( being your a believer) but the cold hardened atheist I've become over the last year and a half says there is no meaning this is just the pot we all pu
