What does £38.8m buy you these days? Well I am sure we can all think of extravangant nonsense to spend it on but if the rumours are correct it would appear it buys Liverpool Karim Benzema who was described by Christiano Ronaldo as the "best striker in Europe" or words to that effect. If this news is real, I cannot wait to see him play for us-stitch that Mario, that might shake you up a bit!

England could play home games around the country from 2018 if an NFL team bases itself at Wembley.

The Football Association are obliged to hold matches at the stadium until 2017 but want an American Football franchise to replace those revenues.

We've had a Pink 3rd/4th Away Kit for years.

It's to tie-in with certain Charities ~McMillan to 'Help Harry' etc.

Hodgson wants them to become like Arsenals invincibles
- at least against their group opponents

Now Hodgson has set his England team the same task - to go through a campaign without being beaten.

Unlike Arsenal, England have far inferior teams to play against in their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign - that much is clear from their opponents this week in San Marino and Estonia.
