I really can't believe this that Gary Moore has sadly passed away!
It was announced only this week that he was going to attend the Notodden blues festival! I went to one of his concerts in Kentish Town London in the mid 90's, but unfortunately after the warm up artists had been on it was announced that Gary had injured his hand and wouldn't be playing that night! Thus, sadly, I have never seen him play. My favourite blues artist, and amongst other things a fellow flamenco guitarist. This is such a loss..... Such a talented musician, and far too young. There will be some real fine music in heaven tonight when Gary and Stevie Ray Vaughn jam together! Gary Moore, 1952 - 2011 RIP. Sadly missed already!

Gary Moore
Just heard about Gary Moore, sad news. I saw him several times during the blues part of this career, the last being last year. Great loss.

I'm wasn't a big Thin Lizzy fan but I do have The Boys Are Back in Town on MP3, and on record(vinyl single) Empty Rooms by Gary Moore and its a great song and I was shocked to hear of his passing.

Hard to believe that he passed away. I'm a huge admirer of his music and can't find the appropriate words right now.

I am listening to Gary at this very moment, and I simply cannot believe that there will be no more such fine music from him. I am quite simply stunned.......
'It's the darkest hour of the darkest night. It's a million miles from the morning light. Can't get no sleep. Don't know what to do. I've got those midnight blues. When the shadows fall, I feel the night closing in. There must be some reason for this mood I'm getting in. Can't get no sleep. Don't know what to do. I've got those midnight blues. Every evening after sundown, as the light begins to fade. I feel so low, but I just don't know why these blues won't go away. Every evening after sundown, as the light begins to fade.
