As Playmates go, there was Marilyn Monroe, Cynthia Myers...and then there was everyone else.

The first time I saw her centerfold picture, around 1980-81, it was a small sized version as part of an advertisement (see below). Because of the photo size and the angle (and the way she's positioned), I thought the stuffed animal was snuggled in-between her breasts.

That would have made a classic centerfold even more so.

But perhaps that would've been a bit risque even by PB's standards for the time period.

She was certainly an iconic beauty, and she still looked great years (and decades) later. It seemed like she enjoyed continuing her sex symbol image. It never bothered me how old she was as time went on; she'll always be that 18 year old girl that set -- and continues to set -- men's hearts afire.

I was deeply saddened to discover that Debbie committed suicide by gunshot. She appeared in at least one Glamourcon shows and there are pictures of her with other former Playmates. Very sexy girl. RIP.

I get a shock: not only Lorissa's death , but in fact: the tragical thread of her life (tragical death of her mum and dad, her brother's illness, her own illness and so on...)

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but Natalie Heck (AKA Savannah Gold) has died. Apparently alcoholism had something to do with it. A great shame.

I read that not long before she had been diagnosed with terminal breast cancer.

Sadly, Carol Vitale passed away in 2008. She was a special person. Here is a link to her obituary in the Miami Herald.

Not sure she recovered, mentally, from the vicious knife assault/attack she suffered a year back, at the hands of a so called punter/fan; which may have contributed to her demise....??

such a waste of a sexy accent; and great talent in her earlier days. gone the way of so many others though. the sex/porn industry strikes again.

"Tiffany Marie Sloan appeared in the centerfold in the October, 1992 issue of Playboy. She died from a drug overdose in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 1, 2008 at the age of 35. Sources disclosed that she had an ongoing drug and alcohol problems and had recently been hospitalized."
