Cooler today...well at least this morning. Yesterday was bloody awlful...and to add insult to injury, because the dogs only got out for a five minute walk in the evening, they were up all night play fighting and barking. The missus was ready to abandon them by the roadside.

The first hot day on Thursday? I was driving past a construction site in Doncaster (A suburb in the east of Melbourne). A guy working there right in the middle of the day in boots, work trousers (fair enough)...and a ******* black black hooded sweater, and he wore the hood over his black cap!

What a douche bag.

Default Succinct summations of Australia's Prime Ministers

#4 George Reid. 1904-05.

Who?

Ahh, who cares??? It's too long and too many of them for me to even bother researching them.

In Tasmania's usually wet West coast evacuation proceedings are in progress at two towns as the Tasmania Fire Service closely monitors about 60 active fires. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-01-...years/10747262

Cool

Kevin here. G' evening cobbers. Enjoying your super hot summer. Yesterday I went shopping and the temperature outside was -16 C. It was so cold my car door was almost frozen shut, and I had to wear gloves until the heater had warmed up enough. All the time I was thinking of how good it might be if I was living in Australia, where it never gets as cold as where I live in any part of aussieland. I could fire up the barbecue and have ice cold beer every night!

I thought Australia Day was January 26, but I see it's January 28 this year. Why did it change?
