My Dad uses this one often when trading banter/insults with checkout girls,

"Do you know what I like about you ? "

"No.."
"Nothing"

That's one of those apocryphal stories,I've seen it when it's a drunken US serviceman reproved by Eleanor Roosevelt..

this is not remotely here say -it did actually happened but not in the context given here.

It happened in the House of Commons when Churchill was being baited by Nancy Astor one of the very first female MP's whom he despised (the feeling was mutual). During a speech by Churchill -Astor interrupted him by shouting "sit down sir you are drunk" to which Churchill replied "Indeed I might be madam and you are ugly - however tomorrow I will be sober again but you will still be ugly"

This is not an insult per se, but an expression of rudeness a professor once used for someone who retired at my alma mater (I found it totally distasteful when he said it, and it was repeated in print): "Don't let the door hit you in the @$$ on the way out."

While at a White House dinner he was taken to task by an anti-colonialist harridan who was holding him to account over the plight of the poor Indians under British rule.

Churchill replied, Which Indians are you referring to Madam?. The hundreds of millions who have prospered as part of the British Empire or the Indians in your country who have been driven to the edge of extinction under American rule!
