Consider them crossed mate

I`d say providing you don`t expect a ton of huge laughs you shouldn`t be too disappointed

Think i sort of built my hopes up that it`d be a laugh fest from beginning to end , what with the general reviews and the great Jason Bateman starring.

That and i was sober when i watched it

Never a good move

By the way i`ve now changed channels and i`m actually watching Hot tub time machine again

Yes i liked it that much

Do you know if there is a German- or English-dubbed version?
I saw it on Arte and it was German-dubbed. I'm sure the DVD offers a dubbed version too.

Dracula 1979 starring Frank Langella as the Count and Laurence Olivier as Van Helsing.

I really enjoyed this adaptation and it has an incredablelly good cast, the special effects have not stood the test of time particularly well but hey you can't have every thing! The acting is first rate and all the characters seem pretty beliveable.

Palo I saw this 20 years ago on SBS, with English subtitles.
I see it's advertised on Amazon with subtitles so I think you would be able to get hold of it. It's very good.

In case that you have Arte, they're going to reprise this wonderful movie next monday at 2:45 pm. Maybe you should record it because it's, as I already said, German-dubbed.

Heartbreak Ridge

A 1986 film starring Clint Eastwood as Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Highway who takes over command of recon platoon as he nears his mandatory retirement age. Along the way he rekindles his relationship with his ex-wife (Marsha Mason) and leads recon platoon in an invasion of Grenada. Also stars Mario Van Peebles.

Save The Green Planet

It's a film about a drug-addled bee keeper, who believes that aliens are about to take over Earth. So he decides to save Earth from the aliens. He kidnaps a top executive and tries to torture the truth out of him (that the executive is in fact an alien). Cue gore and... more gore. Basically, the main character is as loony as they come. The film itself is also rather mad.

It's one of those films you have to watch yourself and decide whether you like it or not - reviews are useless. I quite liked it, but I can understand why people hated it.

Some rather good acting in it now and again; Richard Burton deploys the voice to good effect, Victor Mature is the stalwart player he nearly always was, and Gene Simmons is ravishingly pretty and does that innocent-seductiveness thing of hers to perfection. But even so, it's just dull.
