No I just think duck fat is well, um gross!Healthy thinking ,I use the low fat spray stuff! Hey how do you like your pizzas ,yous guys? I make mine Chicago Italian style.With mushrooms,green peper, & lots of REAL Italian sausage,crumbled on not chunks, for that meaty taste in every bite.IMO peperoni dominates the pizza so much you can't taste anything but the stuff, so I don't prefer it!& whoever told someone that pineapple belongs on pizza I got a bridge to sell them! |

The only thing better than bacon grease is duck fat!
We even have a little bistro here in Portland called Duckfat. They specialize in French Fries cooked in duck fat, which are ridiculously delicious. And addictive. And I just might have to make a fry run in a few minutes.

When I fry a steak I make sure the fatty rind is crispy. Best part inho.

Its too early on the left coast for that,ubu!Now a good Greek omlet with feta cheese ,Gyro meat,tomatoes, & onions,(don't forget the zatziki sauce) man thats a real good Chicago style breakfast,thats better for the morning.
Chicago ,the place where dudes & dudettes can find any kind of great food in the galaxy!Serbian, Hungarian,Indian,Authentic Mexican,Puerto Rican,Greek,Russian,out of this world Italian,Polish (hey don't forget the great Polish buffets in Chicagoland!), & any other ethnic cuisine you can think of, & of course,the incomperable WHITE CASTLE, you get the pic,the best food town on the planet! Where I'm living now in Texas ,all these rednecks & Hillbillies know is Tex-Mex & Barbacue!Even the Mexicans here don't know how to cook their own style food!They should go to Chicagoland to teach them!Here they have something against Mexican pork dishes,like guisado de puerco, a mexican pork stew with tomato sauce.In the Chi-town area they make it so the pork melts in your mouth!Here you mention a pork dish & they look at you bewildered,& push their steak Mexican dishes.I'm seriosly begining to think there's nothin' but queers, steers ,hillbilies here! It's kind of similar to the taste you get from chicken thighs, but different in its own way....richer, fuller. Interestingly, I'm not a huge fan of dark chicken meat but I love duck.
