Imagehost Problems, Imagebam, Imagevenue, PimpAndHost, PixHost, ImgBox etc - Page 84

I tried an endless number of MTU combinations and still my page
freezes when viewing VEF threads with imagevenue posts.

Then I logged onto imagevenue too view my folders
and even those folders stalled my firebox browser.

So, here we are with a growing number of thread pages, people joining the 'party' on a fairly regular basis (I assume there are many mute sufferers also out there). Suggestions are flowing, being tried, being reported on. Sometimes we get hope.... but for me, the issue firmly remains and indeed is worsening. I checked my router MTU....set at 1432 anyway...my god, my head is full of technical gibberish at the moment!....so no joy.
I've written another mail to IV directly just summarising the situation. I really don't get how this can be so complicated....the world is essentially running on computer technology these days... surely there's the direct knowledge out there somewhere. For people who have this as their business, there MUST be some sort of understanding.....unless some sinister hacking/ virus thing has crept in below the radar undetected and is having a quiet laugh!

Ho hum (again).....maybe it's HO HUM this time!!!!!

I've just gone through multiple threads with imagevenue posts
and it appears too be working with no stalling. fingers crossed XX

Yep....I'm seeing again as well....oooooh look at all the colours and these lovely ladies!!!!!!!!!!

Hope that others are also seeing. If hear back from IV (I sent them a very technical read-out of IP traffic earlier!), I'll do a post. They've been very helpful as far as I'm concerned.

ImageVenue looks to be back again for me too. I can now see things I could not view days ago. Hopefully it will stay that way now. Thanks to everyone who's been trying to find a resolution to this.

Thumbnails on Image Venue and Pimp and Host are opening almost instantly when clicked. ImageBam thumbnails, however, seems to be taking eons to open and sometimes just refuse to open at all. Since there is no problem with the first two hosts mentioned, I am assuming that the problem ls with ImageBam. Just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue with ImageBam.

ImageBam does seem a bit slow at times but if images aren't loading i've noticed that reloading the page tends to sort it out (well it's working that way for me anyway).

I have been noticing two of their servers, 10{3,4}.imagebam.com, being very slow during the last week. That seems to be better now, however.

Is it just a problem on my end, or has image venue indeed recently had problems with uploads? I had some very sluggish/failing uploads of late and thus started using imgbox...
