Dear kogi, Your Uptobox account is now limited. What does that mean? it means that all files not downloaded since 7 days will be deleted (in few days). Why ? As you know Uptobox.com is not a cold storage (=files never-downloaded) service. That's mean Uptobox use powerfull dedicated servers and hard disks drive to provide best service quality (for example download and upload speed). This service quality cost a lot of money (CPU,RAM, HDD, SSD, data redundancy, powerfull fiber network, electricity). Uptobox storage is unlimited, but only if you are not using most of this space with files never downloaded (= cold storage). Your account is using 13TB of space, and generated only 0.1140 Uptobox premium point last month. This is unfortunalty not enough to guarantee our service quality with low premium price. What I can do? You can reduce the space used by your account by deleted old useless files, or you can also share more of them with your friends to earn more premium points. Is this permanent ? Until you download ratio is low, yes. I need more delay or i already solved the issue, can you unblock my account? Of course, yes, contact our support @ http://support.uptobox.com. Thank you. Best regards, Gwenaël, Uptobox CTO. |

About uptobox - general comment on hosts

preferred host with this in the TOS (the well must be close to bone dry at the upper end) We reserve the right to disable direct linking on user accounts that are excessively bandwidth or otherwise abusing the system. Pornography, nudity, sexual images and any kind offensive images or videos are prohibited. Copyrighted material are also strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to decide what content to use. Crash on upload completion
Not honestly sure if this is a 1fichier problem, but more likely
a firefox 57 or add-on issue. When the upload completes, the 1fichier page should switche to the one giving you your download/remove URLs. I get an error saying something like, browser says the message is from an insecure connection or something, yes I know, I should have recorded it properly. I have tried disabling the HTTPS eveywhere add-on, same result. 1fichier has the "Send using a secured SSL connection" option. Might it be worth unchecking it? I think i'll try with IE next and see what happens. |

I am using Firefox 57.0.1 with https and did not have any problems with my recent uploads. Although it takes some time and the progress is not refreshed constantly. After completion the link was shown.

Is it a specific file or just every download?

No, downloads are fine, It's the uploads that are the problem ATM.

Even if you have a registered free account with 1fichier, I would recommend using FTP upload.
I use Filezilla which is an open source free program that is updated constantly. Setup is pretty easy and I get full upload speed on my line out of it.
