SRN Studio Model Image Set Index
This is a prototype index of the posted sets in the Suze Randall Studio thread of all the Model Image Sets in ascending order by SetID/Number. This is the 'much, much better than new version' ,03-JUL-2023, featuring index entries That are formatted 'SetID/Number - Model Name/s' and the Post Description Link has the word 'Set' removed. Please leave comments...

Remember to say Thanks for the work that's gone into this  Default SRN Studio Model Image Set Index I have created and have been working on the prototype Index for the SRN Studio model image sets based primarily on the posting work whatsup has been doing for the past year or so. The purpose of the Index is to provide easy access to the SRN Studio thread image sets in the order in which they were released by Suze Randall. I have been working with Name-Hunter, whatsup, and K4 on this effort for the past several months. The current prototype is in the Test Forum under my name, and the heading, 'SRN Studio Image Set Index'. Please, take a look at it, and let me know if there is anything that needs to be added or removed to make it user friendly. Right now the image set listings in the index are in reverse order, descending, instead of ascending. This is very easily rectified once the layout and format of the index is approved. Right now everything is pretty fluid so if there is any heartburn with the way it looks or functions, now is the time to work out those issues. If I could use HTML to write it, it would be a lot spiffier, more flexible, and more user friendly

Amazing work HiHoBoy!
Please consider standardizing and shortening your set descriptions. Setnumber is the most important, as Suze numbered her shoots in shoot order. setnumber | modelname | setcount x resolution [long side] | release date And leave out the word 'Set'. cheers

Removal of the Word 'Set' From Index

How The SRN Studio Thread Set Index Is Built
Hi all,
 I thought I would spend a few minutes talking about how I am building the SRN Studio Thread Index. The Indexes I have created for the VEF projects are all database resident, table driven, and very flexible. Because all the posted image set data is replicated in database tables, the information only needs to be entered once. Once entered, an index entry can be accessed as needed to produce the complete index automatically with the push of a button. The SRN Studio Thread Index here in the Test Forum has been rebuilt many times since it was initially created. Each time new post image sets are added to the index it is completely regenerated and republished. I have automated the addition of index entries using an import file in which the original post and image set data is manually entered; so most my time is spent entering post and image set data into the import file. Once the import file is full of new entries, the automated Import and Index Generation processes create a completely updated Index in less than a minute. After that it's just a matter of posting the new/updated Index Pages. w |
