My main thing is The Beatles. My dad got me started on the music, bringing home their albums for me on 4-track tape. In '76, when I was 11, my cousin Yolanda gave me a couple of boxes of Beatles stuff she had collected as a kid (she was married and had moved out of state). After that, I was off and running. It's the only collection that has kept growing over the years. I used to collect Archie comics and magazines like Famous Monsters of Filmland, Goldmine, Creem and Circus but I sold those off long ago (damn!). My favorite non-Beatle thing is my autographed Adrienne Barbeau poster. It's an original from '78 (the one of her in the purple bustier). She signed it for me at a book signing a year or so ago. I've met her three times. She's sweet and friendly and truly seems to like meeting her fans. And yes, she's still hot.

You mean besides vintage porn? lol I am an obsessive fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000. A MSTie, as we're affectionately called. I collect as many DVD collections of it as I can find, and I download episodes not available on DVD. Also, incase you couldn't tell by my username, I'm a big geeky Nirvana fan, too. I have all their albums, and I'm working on a bootleg collection as well. I also have somehow managed to collect every season of South Park available on DVD. I say somehow because many times I had to go couch-diving just to get the extra buck or two needed for any particular set, but it was worth it because South Park is hilarious. I also collect Wifey's World videos. Her older videos are hard to come by these days, so unfortunately I'm usually forced to download them from around the net whenever someone manages to sneak some past her. Every couple of months, I set aside $24.95 and buy a month's membership to keep current. It's a nice little reward for staying off the reefer, which is sometimes hard for me to do.

I bought a lot of gold coins 10-20 years ago, and now I'm having a ball selling them all! I'm doing it the other way round to Gordon Brown.

Well I guess I have started to collect old tin plate signs, I have been going to car boot sales and have bought several which I have put around my garden.
The latest one I have bought is 'FLY THERE', Imperial Airways with a wonderful picture of a biplane.

Dropped lottery tickets, well you never know. If idiots keep dropping them it's a public service to help promote their stupidity.
Nice to see the couple who found the ticket over here only have to pay back what they had not spent. Still once again in our system there's only one winner - the lawyers. I found a fake £20 note and handed it in to the bank who t6old me to take it to the police who took it off me and that was it, does honesty pay? Does it bolox. Next time I'll just palm it off in some shop. |
