Extension: iMacros
Version: 6.5.0.0 Author/Extension Homepage: http://www.iopus.com/imacros/firefox/?ref=fxmoz Mozilla Download: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3863 Description: Add macro capability to firefox Notes: I use this to automate opening pages anonymously. Follow the simple tutorial to enter this macro. Please note this code has only been tested for FireFox. Using your mouse, highlight the URL you want to open and right click then copy. This will place the URL in the clipboard. Now run the macro and a new tab will open and you will be sent to the new page anonymously. This is what it does: Line 1 simply identifies the iMacro build number. Line 2 opens the new tab Line 3 sets the new tab as active Line 4 creates the new address string Line 5 submits the address to the browser. VERSION BUILD=6240709 RECORDER=FX TAB OPEN TAB T=2 SET !VAR1 anonym.to/{{!CLIPBOARD}} URL GOTO={{!VAR1}} This barely scratches the surface of what this extension can do. Happy programming.

In the example above, the browser request is redirected through anonym.to, as far as I can tell. I went to the anonym.to site and found this quote: "Anonym.to only disguises what page a visitor comes from. Surfers who don't want their IP address to appear in any logfile should have a look at the instructions for TOR." Thus if you enter http://anonym.to/?http://torcheck.xenobite.eu/ in your browser address bar, it will show you what IP address you have. Your referer field should be blocked, though. Usually your browser records referers and sends them. The next visited site is able to track from which previous site you were coming from. That means that if you are at the vintage-erotica-forum (VEF) and click on an image hosted at imagevenue.com, the guys at imagevenue cannot see what site you came from. They can however see your IP. Surfers who don't want their IP address to appear in any logfile should have a look at the TOR project http://www.torproject.org/. There is an addon that handles referer for you, called RefControl https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/953 It lets you control what gets sent as the HTTP Referer on a per-site basis. Just a heads up call, /trm Last edited by the real McCoy; February 9th, 2010 at 10:38 PM.. |

iMacros does look a good tool, and it is also very powerful,
you can build them in Office I remember a few years back someone had written a script & a macro to flush the DNS cache, renew Dynamic IP & change the physical MAC of the ethernet adapter and then keep downloading the same file from RS to generate points (appearing to be a differnet IP/Machine) basically meaning if you started a collector account, then did this trick to get to 10,000 points you could exchange for a premium account, then simply do it with your premium account (log in) to easily generate enough points to extend forever lol It did work apparently but was a cumbersome task to set up as you had to macro all your editing of the MAC/DNS flush/renew IP etc etc

I found a couple of tweaks to help speed up FireFox.
This one is helpful if you like to surf using multiple open tabs. It involves activating and configuring pipelining. Pipelining allows you to have multiple connections to multiple sites simultaneously. *Please note that not all sites allow pipelining, however, this won't cause browser problems. 1: Enter about:config into the FireFox address bar 2: Scroll to the network.http section 3: Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true” Set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to 30 Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true” FireFox typically waits until a certain percentage of a page arrives before displaying it. Make this change to have it display information as it arrives. 1: Right-click anywhere on the about:config page. 2: select New-> Integer. 3: Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” 4: set its value to “0″.

Seemore and DownThemAll addons
You can download all pictures with the DownThemAll in galleries like this (http://girls.twistys.com/preview/268...trial:twistys/), because this gallery have direct links to jpg files (all links in address bar end with the characters ".jpg" or ".jpeg").
The problem appear with this kind of gallery (http://www.2hot4*********/gallery/k/kyla-cole/). If you click on the 1º thumbnail the address bar show "2hot4*********/gallery/k/kyla-cole/view.php?id=1&gal=0&pg=0" and you don't see the characters ".jpg" or ".jpeg" at the end. To solve this problem you need 2 addons: - DownThemAll https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201/ - Seemore https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/57608/ After the installation of these addons 1 - go to the same gallery http://www.2hot4*********/gallery/k/kyla-cole/ ; 2 -click on a thumbnail; 3 - right bottom of the mouse on the image and click on "View Image"; 4 - Now the adress bar end with ".jpg" and if you go to the menu bar/Tools/Seemore you see a page like this 5 - With the DownThemAll (pictures embedded, not the links) you can download all pictures. |

DownThemAll AntiContainer
The traditional addon to rip images in sites like Imagevenue, Imagebam, etc is the ImageHost Grabber https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/12249/, however the Pimpandhost site usually is incompatible with this addon.
The alternative is: 1ºstep - install the DownthemAll https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201/ 2ºstep - install the DownThemAll AntiContainer https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/12577/ Now you can rip the images of the imagehost sites with the DownThemAll, without the problems with the Pimpamdhost site. Google
With the Greasemonkey addon you can run lots of useful scripts. I use the script Google Image Ripper, because it's more practical than the default Google Images.
This is a screenshot of the Google Images And this is a screenshot of the Google Images with the script If you go to the end of the page and click on "Switch to Basic Version", you see the real dimensions of the images, not the thumbnails links: Greasemonkey https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748/ Google Image Ripper http://userscripts.org./scripts/show/36918 more scripts http://userscripts.org./ .................................................. .. The "normal" Google don't show previews it only show the text, but with the Google-img addon you can see the previews note: You need to change the preferences because the default language is the Polish. An extension you might not want.
Found this post in another thread.
Quote:
This update adds to Firefox one of the most dangerous vulnerabilities present in all versions of Internet Explorer: the ability for websites to easily and quietly install software on your PC. Since this design flaw is one of the reasons you may've originally chosen to abandon IE in favor of a safer browser like Firefox, you may wish to remove this extension with all due haste. I am having a problem with one of the celeb sites that i find content from, when i use imagehost grabber i get an empty page, it does not show any url's ..
It says "Status Running", but nothing else happens, and when i try to use DownThemAll it does download the images, but only as small thumbnails, not the actual large images. It used to work on this particular site, but no more. Here is the site in question..... http://www.worldofbabes.co.uk/post.p...=327&post=3462

2 - right click on the 1º thumbnail and "view image"; 3 - the text in the address bar is "http://thumbnails23.imagebam.com/8822/77619d88212736.jpg", but you can write this: "http://www.imagebam.com/image/77619d88212736" (without quotes); 4 - now you see the real image, click on "Gallery Index" to see the thumbs; 5 - you can use the ImageHost Grabber now. |
