The Devil's Rejects
The Devil's Rejects has been described as utterly nihilistic. and it is definitely that. But (to me) it is also one of the most completely BONKERS movie I've ever seen!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQV1N-6Jd0M [EDIT]Spoiler Warning - Final Scene https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOadx4ZICaQ

The tacked on part of The Light at the end of the World was utterly sadistic shoe horned into an already violent Jules Verne story. The extra part was basically the prolonged threating and humiliation of a lone survivor of a ship wreck until the captain gave the woman to the crew to be gang raped. Her only saving grace was that her torture was ended when the "hero" of the film launched a barrage of cannon fire at the ship they were on killing everyone on board. It really didn't need to be made.

Eden Lake for the disturbing death scenes but especially for the off camera death at the end. The director intentionally pisses the audience off. Joke was on him because the movie never made a dime.

[QUOTE=mrmuttly;4421173]But it's worth watching the movie just for Sid Haig's Captain Spaulding,He is a brilliant creation.

If by "disturbing" one means something larger than mere horror films, I would add "The Sixth Sense".
No spoilers, but I found that I had to see it more than once to see it both before and after THE spoiler. It gave me a different way of thinking about people I have considered crazy. |

Juno
How at the end they muck around as if nothing happened kind of unnerves me a bit. |
