Imagehost Problems, Imagebam, Imagevenue, PimpAndHost, PixHost, ImgBox etc - Page 206

Imagebam is worthless today, and methinks it has something to do with Flash. I'm running version 25.something.something, and that appears to be the latest version.

Remember kids, NoScript will alleviate all those sex requests from your "neighbors".

I was just downloading from and uploading to ImageBam and had no problem whatsoever using Firefox with AdblockPlus and NoScript being active, just a few minutes before I found the quoted remarks. Would like to a have a look at my naked neighbours though.

Seriously, ImageBam is still the most reliable image host I know of, please prefer it like I do myself!

I think image hosts are trying so damn hard to get their various ridiculous ads by/through the various ad blocking tools that its compromising/ruining their site and hosting functionality.

Imagebam is allegedly up, but no pictures open for me in Firefox or Explorer, even pictures that were fine a couple of days ago. Can anyone help? Thanks! FH2

I dont have flash on my PC any longer and have been using & viewing imagebam for eons without it - no host i've come across needs it except - Imagevenue requires it for uploading

What ever the issue/issues it will most likely take time for any correction to reach everywhere in the world

PS 2 hours later access is back , edit - not long after off again

lesson to learn - if a host is on the blink
- upload to another host ,
- downloads - bookmark and comeback later

Its just like when something isnt right on VEF - the tech behind the scenes needs to be told and time to find and fix the issue

PS - looks to be an issue with extensions like No Script / better privacy or not

Using firefox in safe mode - all add-ons disabled imagebam works perfectly

Through a process of elimination of my 4 extensions

No script alone eventually worked OK with imagebam.com and not www.imagebam.com white listed worked

Better privacy currently stopping access - edit (22/5/17) Now its working

Using Firefox every time I have tried to open an imagebam image today I get a “

Problem loading page” in the tab, a “The connection was reset” page with the “Try Again” button at the bottom, on this and other Forums. A few days ago I had the same problem for a while then it started working, haven't caught it working today.

Couldn’t find anything about it on Google today, as I sometimes I have about sites being down.

Noted the usage of picture host "imtiger.org" by VEF posters.

It takes up to 3 clicks to reach a pic.
The sites header is "Image Sharing & Earn Money".

Makes me doubt that this is an acceptable pic host....

Sounds more like the bad old "url.cash" method.
