I once worked for a local authority who gave a ten minute break every hour for every employee who smoked. That equates to well over an hour a day to have a ciggie. When several of us non smokers complained and asked for a similar privilidge, we were told we didn't qualify. So basically, we were discriminated against for being non smokers.

I know smoking is bad for your health. Anyone who's lit up since 1968 couldn't miss the Surgeon General's warning, but I can't stand one group of people telling another group what they can and can't do. I agree people shouldn't be allowed to smoke in confined places like restaurants and airplanes, but when they start telling you you can't smoke outside on the sidewalk, in the car or in the privacy of your own home it's time to do something. What, I have no idea. I think overthrowing the government would be a little much though.
