If memory serves, there was a fan uprising and the bedsheets came out a couple of years ago, when McClaren was shortlisted/interviewed.

At least Athletico are making the final

Given the quality teams who were in form like barcelona & bayern
thats no small achievement

Last time they played Real they led 0-1 for 80 minutes and then fell apart

This time they get to penalties

Next time - replace Torres with someone in their prime and who knows

I dont recall Real or Barcelona losing a champions league final in recent times

You have to go back to the 80s to find a loss involving them
Teams you really dont want to meet in the final

Early viewing figures suggest that this is the lowest viewed CL Final in history.
On TV and take-ups that is.

Might be why it was free-to-view in the UK and Scandinavian countries.

AFC Wimbledon make it to League 1. They beat Plymouth 2-0 today at Wembley in front of a crowd of nearly 58,000. Adebayo Akinfenwa also managed in the interviews to advertise his services as he is being released by Wimbledon tomorrow.
