585:Never ever, under any circumstances, split up. If you do get separated, record the ensuing events. Whatever mode of recording you use, it should be adjusted to record in ill-lit, excessively shaky and grainy mode.

588. The attics in big old spooky houses always have an old wooden rocking horse amongst the junk which hasn't been used since the occupant was a child many, many years ago.

589. If you slaughter billions of people, and blow up an entire planet, your parents will still accept you back into their lives and want you to come home.
(Star Wars, The Force Awakens. If I was Han Solo, I'dve said "Hell no I ain't bringing him home Leia, are you nuts? Send that fucking kid to space jail and throw away the key, and don't go round telling anyone he's my son, either"). |

Always split up to conduct any interior search. You will be more scared doing this, but it will look better. The rooms will be pitch black even in the middle of the day, so always use a flashlight and never try to turn on the lights. Always hold your flashlight as awkwardly as possible, even if you are not carrying a gun in the other hand. Remember to open doors casually, make plenty of noise in the process and don't expect anyone to be hiding behind them.

591: Upon hearing a noise downstairs call out 'Hello?...Is anyone there?' because the psycho killer is bound to give the game away by answering back, 'Yeah, I'm in the kitchen. Want a sammich?'

592=No matter how hard they try film and TV producers just can't seem to make a really good film about Robin Hood.
They're either bright and colourful child-friendly affairs (like the Errol Flynn era) or the more serious ones (like the TV series Robin of Sherwood or the Ridley Scott film from 2010 with Russell Crowe) which never seem to be completely historically accurate. |
