I also get a decent speed with 1fichier as a registered user. Their premium rate is very reasonable.

1fichier... Not worth bothering about unless your paying for it.. with the amount I download it's not really an option...

Why their payment is so hard?
There is no credit card payment on their premiums.

I see a credit card payment option with a 10% additional fee for processing now. Not sure why you don't....

It would appear 1fichier has entered into a some sort of arrangement with 4 resellers
which offer all types of payments

From the top level select your preferred payment
- premium makes more sense than access but only if your an uploader who doesnt want to be re-upping files every 15-30 days or a heavy downloader imho

On the payment option page - 4 different ways including credit card or
down the bottom under Other Payment methods : Check our Resellers List - see image below

I just extended my premium account for another six months (was due to expire in June, now extended to December) for US$18* via digitadiko.com (the first of four resellers on the 1fichier list) and payza, which is the default funding source used by digitadiko. I was able to use a credit card to deposit funds at payza (there is a 3.5% service charge) immediately after opening an account with email verification. FYI, you must give payza full name, address, phone number and a social security number (I did not use my real SSN, btw.)

In the confirmation email from digitadiko that my payment was received, I was given an alphanumeric key and a link to the page at 1fichier where I had to scroll to the bottom and enter the key (copied and pasted). When I then checked my account via JDownloader, the expiration date had changed from June to December, so all is well.

*I transferred a total of US$17.75 from my credit card and after fees and exchange rates (dollars to euros) I was left with $0.54 in my payza account. Theoretically, I could have saved the fifty cents and transferred only $17.25, but the exchange rate was different than I originally thought, so I had to add a second deposit, and the minimum is one dollar.

As a Free User I have just downloaded a 700Mb file in just
~ 5 minutes !

This is like 1Fichier of old.

What ever the reason good or bad the sooner all the 1fichier dead links from the cull are removed the better for the host

No better way to turn end users off a host than finding dead links one after another
everywhere they go
