Four days ago I received a 'billing failure' email from FF. I contacted my card-issuer the same day and was told "there's no problem, they simply haven't requested this month's subs". I logged a ticket with FF support explaining this in words of one syllable and there it sat, unactioned, for another three days - during which time I continued to receive daily 'billing failure' messages.
Today, they've mailed again to cancel the account.
Morons.

So now all my files will kick up their little legs and die because some idiots in cyberspace don't want my money. There's a metaphor for life in there, somewhere....

You need to message a "Andy Wong" kick up an almighty stink about how long you've been a member, blah blah, (personally, I'd go a tad colourful bro) the way you have been treated over "thier mistake" bollox them for closing down a paying account, bollox them for not responding to your ticket/s and anything else you can think of to bollox them over, Mr Wong "will" get back to you m8, just don't go over-board with the colourful bro perhaps then, the brain-cell they seem to share will kick into gear or maybe not, you've nowt to lose bro

when file factory lost a few of my friends files he got a few months free as an apology this is easily as bad they should at least give you the next three months free for the inconvenience.

edit tuesday: downloaded about eight files from jeff's file factory this morning, thanks, still working, downloading at traffic share speeds.

No freebies, tho' I suppose I shoud be grateful that I seem to have won out, despite still not knowing what the prob. was in the first place.
The number of my files they've lost so far should entitle me, at your friend's rate, to about 173 years free membership - and 72 virgins.

but where would they find 72 virgins - it's Saturday morning numbers deplete after Friday nights drinking in Britain and by the time any imports have been checked for quality control we could be back round to Friday.

Hi guys

The only way to check what's gone from your account if FF have deleted it is a hard slog i.e. you need to go into your account settings here on VEF and find all your posts, then one by one you need to click on any links you uploaded to FF and then posted here ( or other forum/s ) if a link is dead ( File Unavailable or Invalid Download Link or something similar ) chances are that you have found a file that FF have deleted without your consent, hence "hard slog" and most annoying I must add

@BCFC_1982 you/we/I can do the same, check jeffcj's links out manually by clicking on and testing to see if live or not

i downloaded eight of jeff's files on 1st february, i just tried four more random ones that i didn't download and they are all still there. as far as i know it was sorted out before his account got closed so i'd suspect it still works.
