This is one of the worst things that happens to me quite often in Chicago. The rain is coming down very hard, so I have to use an umbrella, and I use a specially made "windbrella" which can resist winds of 27 mph, but today the wind was blowing at 30 mph and my umbrella became inverted, and when that happens the struts break and the umbrella is then unusuable. Luckily I always buy several!
