Firstly, it should be mentioned that when I say a lady "cheated mankind", it's tongue-in-cheek. There is not necessarily any anger or hostility involved.

I mention this because my next subject is Anne Francis, who died last year. She was by all accounts a very nice lady, and I of course bear no malice toward her. Alas, she did go her entire career without a speck of nudity, thus cheating mankind.



Most people thought she was at her hottest in the 1960s, but I myself loved the way she looked when she was a little older, in the 70s. These pics are from the Columbo episode "Short Fuse", made in 1972. Granted, she didn't have the most flattering hairstyle or outfits in that episode (she was supposed to be playing a secretary, so she had to go more low-key), and the role didn't give her much occasion to smile. Still, you just couldn't hide her natural beauty.

Catherine Bach didn't age all that well, but unless I'm very much mistaken, she's still alive and well. Cheryl Ladd aged remarkably well, and is also still very much alive.
