idle thought: is the London/Olympic/WHU pitch size similar to that at Wembley? Spurs were so not in the game it could have been a European tie. Next season could be a trial...

OS the same length, Wembley is a yard wider. One of our better performances, even Calleri turned up. I said at the start of the season it would be 38 away games this year, last night might be a turning point as the crowd were in it as well, Liverpool visit next which should give an indication if we have turned it around or we were just up for the spuds.

So Stevenage lose on the last day of the season and drop down to 10th. Were favourites for relegation at the start of the season,so has to be seen as a good season. However being hammered by some 'supporters' on Twitter this evening as having botttled it.

However, congratulations to those in play-off positions as well as Newport who stay up after an amazing latter part of the season. Commiserations to Hartlepool, but life in the Conference is not the end of the world. Mind you getting straight back up is not a given as there are some decent teams there now. The sooner it goes to three down, three up the better.

Wow - Hartlepool relegated? Didn't see that coming...
Jeff Stelling is a Hartlepool United fan, so obviously he's sick as the proverbial parrot:

I wouldnt mind betting that Spurs sub-consciously had already conceded the EPL title
after Everton went down 0-3 at home.

Its curious how so many teams now dominate possession but rarely make it count
West Ham with 36% less possession had 2 more shots on goal - bizarre

There was really good stat mentioned not long ago that showed everytime Crystal Palace were dominant like Spurs were they lost - 4 games in all - caught out on the break.

How ever the season pans out once again the big spending clubs (3-6) have been upstaged by a team with a much smaller wage bill for the 2nd season in a row

A sad day for Blackburn Rovers who ruined Christmas 63 for me, so much for chicken farmers.

Birmingham owners need to realise if they give the job to "Arry" they need to control the finances.
