I started a thread in the other stuff section which relates to old defunct websites but its becoming apparent to me quite a few of the models with biographical info are really more Vintage than not

So rather than post their bio info in their threads with the few small pictures one thread for them all might serve as a reference point for those looking for this type of extra info

I will state from the start I have no idea if what is written is accurate but in its day many others(moderator at bgafd who ran a comprehensive british magazine model a to z site geocities/modandmags) referred to it quite often

Alison is listed in a 1985 catalogue from P.M. Products who were based at Kensington, London. She is listed as "Alison H, blonde, sweet 16 and really slim apart from a pair of very firm, large, perky tits ......... Statistics are 34E-24-32 and 5'4" high.

DEBEE ASHBY

NEWSPAPER MODEL 1983-1996

Debee was a sensation from the start. She first appeared as many others do, at age 16 and shot to stardom after being expelled from school for appearing topless in her school uniform in a mens magazine. Debee made many newspaper and magazine appearances. She went on to be quite a celebrity and had her own saucy show touring Britain for a while, I almost saw it in th Isle of Man. She regularly appeared in Panto's and Plays.


A SHORT HISTORY OF DEBEE

Debee was born in Allesley (near Coventry), Warwickshire. 16-year-old Debee was expelled from school on 16 Decemebr 1983 after they found out she was the star of Men Only Volume 49 No.1 (Jan 1984). She also appeared on the cover of September 84 issue. I believe these were her first layouts and they included a nice shots of Debee and her mother Ann together topless. However, The Sun (19/12/83) quoted Ann as saying she regretted doing this under the headline " 'I BOOBED' SAYS TOPLESS PHOTO MUM "(!). Debee was to write a monthly "Diary of a teen angel" for the mag MEN ONLY, but this soon fell through. According to a story in a later issue, she fell out with the magazine as it had revealed more of her than she really wanted.

Debee seems to have been through quite a lot over the years, according to the tabloids, how much do we believe though? Her weight varied quite a bit, it was quoted as going up to 10 1/2 stone at one point. (So what, says I? She still looked fine to me in the heavier pics - in fact I prefer those pictures to the later lean, blonde look). There was a story that she had the eating disorder bulimia nervosa.

There was the bizarre visit to the aging Tony Curtis in the States at his invitation, and a brief fling with Rick Parfitt, the guitarist from Status Quo. He gives Debee a fleeting mention in the Quo history.

Debee now runs a pub on the Isle of Man.

Liverpool lass Gail, appeared in newspapers from about 1985-1992. So the story goes, she started modeling at the tender age of 16 when she turned up at an amateur modeling session of a photographic club and begged to be snapped naked.

Gail made a lucky break in 1994 and got a job presenting Satellite Channel - Live TV's Sports Show, and another L!ve TV programme. She then moved to terrestrial Channel 5 TV in the UK where she presents a the twice weekly sports show Turnstile, as well as presenting Brilliant Creatures on ITV, and various programmes on UK Cable Station - Challenge TV.

Tracey went to modeling assignments in Morocco, Bali, USA (and Greece!). She was in TV ads for Woolworths and Wrangler jeans and promoted News Of The World and also acted in the TV series Grange Hill. Later she went on to be a keep-fit teacher for young housewives and enjoyed aerobics, swimming and surfing to keep fit

At home Tracey enjoyed driving an ex-US Army jeep and loved talking on the phone so much that her parents bought her her own pay phone as a teenager to save their bills!
