I know it's mischievious, but it will still be called Great Britain - that name refers to the physical island consisting England, Scotland and Wales.

The United Kingdom is the amalgamation you're thinking of, namely England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, along with a couple of islands.

As to what the UK will be called should Scotland ever go fully independent, who knows? Probably still the UK as it it will contain Wales and Northern Ireland along with England.

Davemetalhead explained it already but let me add a few words, too:

Great Britain is a geographical name for the bigger part of the British Isles. That would be England, Wales and Scotland. The other part of the British Isles is Little Britain and, no, I'm not referring to the, rather stupid, television series but the Republic of Ireland and the still occupied Northern Ireland. The official name of the state we tend to call Great Britain or simply Britain is United Kingdom which consists of all of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (Little Britain).

Little Britain is or was Brittany,It was Less Britain as opposed to Great Britain..They will of course, insist on calling it the United Kingdom,Even though Wales was never a kingdom and Northern Ireland is only a province.They will probably insist on keeping that stupid flag too..

The full official name of the country is (as on the passport) the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland so I guess it will be the
(Dis-)United Kingdom of England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Though personally fingers crossed it will be the Republic when that jug-eared twat comes to the throne.
