TV shows with topless scenes

So many memories rushing back from all those years! Is it just me or is TV more sterile now? My holy grail is an episode of an ITV series about French court cases called Crimes of Passion - one episode was about a stripper and there were a lot of acts in the strip club that were shown and plenty topless.

My memory of this is a little fuzzy after 30 years, so I hope someone has better recollection, but I'm not sure face & nips were ever in the same shot so we might have been talking body double.

On 1 April 1980, the naturist beach at Brighton was opened in the nude by the reigning Miss Brighton. She had to do this as part of her duties for the year. I remember seeing photos of this in newspapers at the time as it was covered by many lucky photographers.

Also 2 or 3 years later I watched a "call my bluff" type gameshow, probably on channel 4, where she appeared and described what she did. The panel had to guess if she was telling the truth. I remember Peter Purves saying he wished he could have been there.

Does anybody have video or the newspaper photos of this? Does anybody know the girl's name?

in the midweek sport a few weeks ago they had a lighthearted quiz and one of the questions related to the opening of brighton nudist beach with an accompanying pic .

the girl with the bare bum at the seaside in that pic certainly looks like susie bessant in the studio photo next to it who was the reigning miss brighton 79/80 so that must be part of the photo shoot jamfortea remembers .

the rest of the shoot and any video must be locked in a news agency vault alas !
