As it's October, I'll go with a Halloween theme:

1) Edgar Allen Poe
2) Bela Lugosi
3) Orson Welles (he can rec-create the War of the Worlds broadcast during appetizers)
4) Vincent Price
5) and Natalie Wood (she has nothing to do with Halloween, but she's my favorite girl of all-time!)

I would have Boris Karloff come too, but I'm afraid he and Bela might argue all night!

Susan Greenfield: neurophysiologist but nonetheless mature totty
Helen Mirren: no need to justify ...
Jeremy Clarkson: bound to make himself unpopular and leave the field more open!
Lynda Bellingham: Well, if nothing else she could knock up the gravy

3. Thomas Jefferson (favourite president)

4. Avril Lavigne (talented hot musician)

5. Sir Isaac Newton (another great mind)

I'm not sure if these 5 would get along. Some were cranky, others not very talkative and Händel was a glutton, too.

I`ll be serving intense GBH with titanium bat (Pan fried ) for starter
Then a prolonged verbal , infused with justified venom
For sweet it`ll be slice and dice with a couple of hefty machetes , after first dipping the edges in almond syrup
To round of the meal disposal of still twitching remains in a septic tank ,followed by a drissel of my hot piss
