Are there names that will turn you off a porn model ? - Page 3

This is slightly tangential because I'm sure the girls themselves didn't choose the following names, but the names they were given used to put me off their photosets.

I'm sure a lot of members will remember that back in the late 70s and 80s in UK girlie mags there would often be a Diary Girl feature, in which, issue after issue, the same girl would be featured stripping off in a different location or out of a different outfit.

Too many of these girls had names whose first letters alliterated - Mandy Moore, Lisa Lane, Mitzi May - or names that were just piss-takes - Candy Hunt, Tina Cream.

I found that this dumb-assery often put me off the girl just because their names were clearly fake, and editorial impositions at that, the last thing you want in a supposedly real diary feature.

They called up an image of unshaven bleary cynical half-pissed junior editors sitting round the magazine office in a haze of late afternoon stale smoke, exercising their contempt for their jobs, the girls, and the readers by thinking up smartarse names.

I thought the americans were bad for stupid porn names, but perhaps the east europeans are taking a leaf out of their book.

stinky debile aka cheap troll aka tard (jenna lovely)

slutka (diana gold)

sony (krizstina banks)

virus vellons aka cherry cream (cynthia vellons)

baby czilla (vivian silverstone)

and some others: Viper/seka/nina de ponca/trisha uptown.

Dude, spot on. Such names tick me off as well. They bring the thought of botox and fake orgasms, and that ruins whatever appetite I might have had about their work. One of the reasons why I dig vintage erotica. Still erotic for me.

I don't like reused or stolen names.Staci lords is a good example.As is Misty Rains. Misty Rain is one of my all time favorites, the other one is a fraud.

How many more 'models' are we gonna get using the name Foxx or Foxxx ?? Instant turn off for me, along with Candi, Staci, etc and the surname Mellons

Think those names might turn me off a bit ,still if they had nice firm personalities i may be able to rise above it

Any obviously made up name.

I don't know if French performers use their real names or not; but they seem real, and that's the important thing.

PG Wodehouse mentioned the untrustworthyness of girls with an extra W in their name, like Gwladys (I think) in one of the Jeeves stories (actually, it wasn't Wodehouse who said it, it was Jeeves).

Also, I can't get used to the idea of Aubrey as a name for girls.
