Creamcheesex.org - "Site closed"

Just by way of informing my fellow VEFers and to start a thread to find out what's going on :

Have just tried to access this site (about 5.30pm Tues 7th Nov 2017) and all that appears at the top level page is the "Creamcheese" header and "Site closed.".

EEEk ! Looks like one of my best sources of reference is unavailable ?!!

Anybody know anything more?

He probably had to pull the plug , due to the cost of maintaining the website
or was presented with a big potential ' bill ' by the website host company
( ala what Photobucket tried to do to existing customers ) -
he also has not updated a lot of the site for a while - probably due to lack of time ..

on the plus side - probably actually all the content that was on there was saved on this website - and certainly I can assure the forum , that the ' Rachel Broome ' information
is all safe and sound on her thread ( whilst I am around - as I check all the links daily - and since the imagevenue scare this summer, I now have a back of all the images ) .

I agree it is a shame as he had a terrific section or website devoted to Late Night Extra and Girl Illustrated magazines ... sign of the times sadly ...

I am also wondering if there might be a problem re. content as the website had recently expanded to include American magazines - one being "Oui" (plus at least two others which I can't remember). There were a lot more boy/girl photosets.

I may well PM the originator of the website if this continues for a few days.

I am glad to read of others' concern. I had only just discovered the expanded Oui section content. I was SO excited as I have intense childhood memories about Oui photoshoots. When I went back yesterday I saw as others have noted that the site is "closed". While I agree that most of the US Club content is already here, the Oui content is not. Does anyone have a line on whether that content might be found elsewhere? Sad day, but as Asterisky wrote, VEF is here, well, and thriving. Thank you!

Hello all.

As many have noticed, the Cream Cheese site is now closed. Copyright issues I'm afraid. It's not the cost of the site (as some have speculated) because web hosting is now really cheap. It's the potential for lawyers to jump up and down that has persuaded me to stop. The last thing I want is to irritate those who created the original material, so sadly I've decided to take the whole thing down.

I appreciate that's not what you will want to hear. Sorry about that. Thanks for all the many messages checking that I'm OK and asking what's gone on. The only thing I can say in compensation is that I hope you had a great time surfing it all while it was there (which in much of the case was one and a half decades).

I will still be a poster to this site, hopefully contributing to all the scholarly work done by others. Hope you enjoyed the site while it was there.

To respond to this one point, I can assure you that the only source I had for the Oui material was VEF. Everything posted on Cream Cheese is in the Oui thread here, but it's just a bit chaotic there. I might get around to creating a proper index for it some time, rather like the excellent ones for Hu$tler and Mayfair that are here already.
