Women , well women in jobs they have no aptitude for !

Well ok one particular woman, who not only wasted my entire long weekend with her bloody illogical chopping and changing . Also canceled the money transfer for the work i had done AND then went and complained to my main employer claiming i had been rude and sarcastic to her ???

She wanted them to can my ass

Why ?

Because she is a total cant so out of her depth and determined to out macho us men that the cretin seemed incapable of reason. If she wasn`t calling me randomly at all hours shouting in panic and accusing me of mistakes i hadn`t made ,she was then brushing off said mistakes as nothings after i showed her the proof of zero wrong doing on my part

Guess " Sorry i was wrong " wasn't in her very limited vocab

Only my good fortune that my actual biggest employers value me more than her as otherwise i`d be dead in the water and semi black listed.

Still completely furious about it

Just turned on the telly to watch corrie, and there's some bald bloke commenting on old programs, one of the biggest corrie stories ever cancelled because it mentions an alleged murder in cumbria. Like to see how the news gets round that one

I think we should start collecting money, so that the state of Israel can buy a real Navy. The money that they then save on body bags can be used to buy a Coast Guard.
It's a win-win situation.

And yes, by the way, the respect I had in the 60-70-80 :ies for Israel is gone.

Yes I am, of course I feel sympathy for the victims, but those that are alive are hardly likely to be watching corrie.If they're worried about upsetting people then stories about marital infidelity, bereavement in general etc etc are far more likely to upset people who are actually watching, people in real life situations who will relate to the stories they are showing This is PC gone mad.

Israel has survived for over 60 years now in the Middle East, which is a very tough neighbourhood. This hasn't been achieved by being nice to stray cats. But still...

The moderate Israeli leader, Mr Rabin, was murdered nearly 15 years ago for trying to broker peace and there has been no successor. His murderer must be hugging himself in his prison cell with gratification at the successful outcome of his crime: the shootings on the blockade running ship are one of the many many bitter fruits of that assassination.

The extremists on both sides have won control of events and the result is that Israel and the Palestinians are caught in a tape loop, a hideous animated gif of their own creation. This event is just one more in a stream of repetitions of pointless violence. History, so they say, repeats itself. First as tragedy; then, as farce.

I don't think the problems of the Middle East will ever be solved - I wish Arthur Balfour had suggested the Falkland Islands or some such place for a Zionist homeland - it would have saved everyone a lot of bother.
