A lot of members have been asking me questions about badgers so here is the next instalment of my occasional badger orientated advice column. I know so many of you rely on it.

At this time of year, in prolonged cold spells, badgers sometimes appreciate a bit more food. Cereal based dog foods are ideal but also seasonal fruits, lightly cooked meat and unsalted peanuts. Be careful not to overdo it though as you don't want your friendly brock to become too dependent on your hand-outs.

With this advice you will be able to help your monochrome mates through the harsh winter months.
