I've been a PA resident since I was an infant, before I turned 1. I'm 25 now, and in all my years, I never truly felt any sort of pride over my state. I got this trending topic on Twitter, which had to be tailored to me because I'm in PA, it was "#PennsylvaniaDay." It turns out that July 20 is Pennsylvania Day.


Just goes to show how much I know my own state. A few years ago I learned about the "Pennsyltucky" term, and I never knew it, I never traveled westward until 3 years ago, visiting my mom, who's out in the Erie area. I'm in the Southeast area, 1 hour or so away from Philadelphia, where our best export hails from. That being Will Smith. Rocky too if you include fictional characters.


I don't know how to celebrate PA day, watch a Will Smith movie? Don't have time. Coincidentally though, midnight time of today, I did go down a little Youtube rabbit hole in regards to the Aunt Vivian switch in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Janet Hubert being switched out after season 3 for Daphne Reed. I knew about the controversy there, the beef Hubert has with the cast, in particular Will Smith. It's well documented. It's been quiet for over a year now, and these videos I saw from a MistaGG, were from June 2017, and he was actually getting threatened by Hubert. Lawsuit for copyright infringement, even though him using her videos to illustrate her points rather than mouth them off verbatim, is fair use. The kid (he said he was 16) re-uploaded the first video after being threatened to take it down, and replaced the video content from her Youtube channel with the crazy, hateful comments she made towards him. I knew she was crazy, I didn't know she openly attacked people who called her out. It's a shame.


Anyways, Pennsylvania, huzzah. There's no Wawa or Sheetz nearby, that's our gas station/convenience store. Well, they're all over the tri-state area, but still. We have the museum steps that Stallone ran up, I did that once back in 2007. The Rocky Statue. Really, most of our highlights are in Philly and Pittsburgh, and I sure don't have pride for my own city, which is basically Philly-lite. The WWF/E came and recently still comes through here, Amanda Seyfried graduated from the high school I went to, not in the same class of course. We have the PPL Center (gives away my city), which hosted Judas Priest once and some other musical acts.



Not from my city, but Easton PA, birthplace of one Lisa Ann. We produced some legendary pornstars. Or just one, whatever.

I've been home in Edinburgh since last Thursday for a family funeral and to spend some time with the family. I've been away from Scotland since I was 22. My partner (actually, fiance now) asked me yesterday about us moving here. She's European, working in Spain and her company is opening an office in Edinburgh in the autumn. She'd like to be nearer my family. Today, thinking about us flying back to Spain... yeah, I want to move back here. I want to be here in Scotland. To raise kids, to support Scottish independence, to be near family... a hard Scottish winter might knock that out of me, but... what I learned today is that I want to come home.

As although have a cooling fan for my loyal Laptop to sit upon. It`s 32 degrees (No I don't stutter) right now inside
So directed the desk fan onto the keyboard in a daffy deranged (Most might say) attempt to stop this machine overheating and quitting on me.

Alright it`s hardly an ideal thing to do

Something I should have figured out many many weeks ago
That being after clicking thanks need to wait until my name has appeared , before moving on.
As if I don't it just doesn't take and shows as if I didn't thank it.
For months I've been finding posts I knew had thanked and they`re showing as I didn't do so.
Now this wasn't always the case.
Used to be could run down an entire page clicking like a manic and when reaching the bottom immediately move off elsewhere. Safe in the knowledge I'd appreciated a page.
Those days are gone and for me at least there`s a delay per post per click of three to five seconds. Which granted isn't overly long in the scheme of things. Yet considering at the start of this year my thank would appear immediately. This delay grates a whimsy.
Can't understand why it`s required I wait nowadays.
Unless it`s my loyal old laptop simply showing his age
